Mrs. Erin Quirk
Erin has 15 years experience working in early care and education. She earned an AAS in Child Development and a BS in Child Care Management from Southern Vermont College and a Masters in Education (Early Childhood) from the College of Saint Rose. She is NYS certified to teach grades Pre-K - 2.
Prior to joining the teaching staff at St. Ambrose, Erin taught preschool at Sacred Heart Elementary in Troy, and filled a 3rd grade long-term substitute position at St. Pius X. She has also been employed as the Director of several center-based child care centers in the Capital District.
After school, Erin is the mother of 4 young boys (who range in age from 5 to 16). Weekday afternoons and evenings are filled with homework, baseball, and Tae Kwon Do. Erin spends many weekends in Saranac Lake, where she and her family enjoy everything outdoors with one exception: while the boys do the fishing, Erin prefers her book.
Ms. Mariah Hill
Mariah has been a presence at St. Ambrose School since March, 2014, when she was hired for the before and after-care programs and as a substitute teacher. The 2016/17 school year sees her in the full-time position of assistant teacher in Pre K-3.1.
Mariah holds a BA in English with a minor in Philosophy from SUNY Albany and is currently persuing her Masters in English from the same school.
Mariah is a lifelong resident of Latham, and in her free time enjoys reading and writing.
